Volunteering

Opportunities

Bridge Ambassadors are volunteers who engage people with the two iconic structures that connect Devon and Cornwall - the Tamar Bridge and the Royal Albert Bridge.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and positive team of volunteers who can help support us in a variety of roles.

You could be giving guided tours of the Tamar Bridge, welcoming visitors as they stop off at our Learning Centre on their way to Cornwall, or inspiring children on a school trip.

  • Increase your confidence
  • Gain an insight into STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths)
  • Feel a sense of achievement knowing you are part of the Tamar Bridge’s history
  • Meet like-minded people and work as part of a team
  • Enjoy the satisfaction of giving something back to your community
