Meeting Brunel – Home Education Workshop

This 2-hour workshop provides families the opportunity to learn about the life and achievements of Isambard Kingdom Brunel through this interactive workshop, led by our highly experienced IKB impersonator. This workshop explores aspects of engineering and the Industrial Revolution, relating this to local history.

As part of the workshop families will also be taken on a short bridge tour which will take 30-40 minutes. There will also be time to explore the interactive activities within the Visitor & Learning Centre.

This workshop has been developed for children aged 7-11 years old, but we leave it up to parents/guardians to decide if this is likely to be suitable for their child and attendance is open for all ages.

Price £6 per person + booking fees (An adult ticket must be purchased alongside child tickets at time of booking)
