Home Educated Families – Figures in Science

Event

Monday, 2nd March 1-3pm - Meeting Archimedes

This 2-hour workshop provides families the opportunity to learn about the life and achievements of Archimedes through this interactive workshop, led by our highly experienced impersonator. This workshop explores aspects of science & technology including the Archimedes Screw & Levers & Pulley's.

As part of the workshop families will also be taken on a short bridge tour which will take 30-40 minutes. There will also be time to explore the interactive activities within the Visitor & Learning Centre.

This workshop has been developed for children aged 7-11 years old, but we leave it up to parents/guardians to decide if this is likely to be suitable for their child and attendance is open for all ages. Parents have fed back that they have found these sessions enjoyable and would recommend them for children of all ages.
